We give financially because Scripture teaches that generosity is an act of worship, obedience, and love for others. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, believers are encouraged to give “cheerfully,” while Acts 2:44–45 shows the early church sharing resources to meet needs and support the work of ministry. Giving reflects trust in God’s provision and helps advance the church’s mission to care for people and spread the gospel.
