Reverend Gabriel Graffius
Gabe was born and raised in central Pennsylvania. Upon completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, he moved to New Jersey to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry. During his 11 years in New Jersey, he completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry while continuing to work at his full-time job. He has continued his career as a chemist after his relocation to Rhode Island. He was first licensed to preach by the Raritan Valley Seventh Day Baptist Church in 2014, where he served as Associate Pastor until moving to Rhode Island in 2018. He has been married to his loving and supportive wife, Adrienne, since 2012. They have two daughters.
Pastor Jonathan Hunyady
After coming to know Christ in high school, Jonathan felt a call to pastoral ministry. After graduating, Jonathan’s ministry journey began as a college student at Word Of Life Bible Institute in Pottersville, NY. While enrolled, he discipled young men and led the children’s Bible teaching at the Pines Family Campground. After graduating from WOLBI with a certificate in biblical studies, Jonathan began serving here at First Hopkinton SDB where he ministers to this day. Jonathan also works during the week as a plumber where he strives to make the love of Christ known through actions and intentional conversation. He is married to his supportive and encouraging high school sweetheart, Emma. The two were married in June of 2025.
